You may want to read Newsday’s article “30M Taxpayers Under Withheld” and avoid unwelcome surprises next April. While the New Tax Law allows taxpayers to reduce their withholding, many taxpayers are finding that the monies being withheld will fall far short of their April 15th tax obligation. To avoid an unexpected financial hit this coming spring, DSJ encourages its clients to come in–well ahead of next year–for a tax projection.
